Porunga grants Dende's wish to transport everyone except Goku and Frieza to Earth, leaving the two rivals alone on a dying planet. With no escape and no audience, they agree to settle their fight with pure hand-to-hand combat as Namek crumbles around them.
When Frieza spots Porunga in the distance, he rockets toward the Namekian Dragon God, desperate to secure immortality before Namek collapses. Goku follows close behind. On the ground, Dende scrambles to complete his wish in the Namekian tongue. Frieza arrives and screams his demand, but Porunga only recognizes wishes spoken in Namekian. The dragon announces that he will grant Dende's request: every living being on Namek, aside from Goku and Frieza, will be teleported to Earth.
Goku grins. Frieza is stunned. In an instant, the Namekians, Gohan, Piccolo, Bulma, Vegeta, and Dende all vanish, reappearing on a peaceful field on Earth. Frieza demands to know how Dende could even be alive, since he killed the young Namekian personally. Goku calmly explains that the Earth's Dragon Balls were used to revive everyone slain on Namek, bringing Dende back along with the rest.
Frieza calculates that Namek has roughly two minutes before its core detonates. Rather than flee, he accepts Goku's desire for a straight hand-to-hand duel. The two warriors square off amid erupting volcanoes and splitting earth. Meanwhile on Earth, confusion reigns among the transported fighters and Namekians. Only Dende and Grand Elder Guru understand what has happened. Dende rushes to heal Piccolo's wounds, while Guru explains their sudden relocation.
Back on Namek, Frieza opens the fight with a vicious elbow strike to Goku's face. Goku absorbs the blow and retaliates instantly, driving his knee into Frieza's jaw. The collision sends shockwaves rippling across the fractured landscape. Neither fighter holds back as the planet's final countdown begins.
