The Cell Juniors Attack

The seven Cell Juniors swarm the Z Fighters and quickly prove their terrifying strength. Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien Shinhan are overpowered almost immediately. Vegeta and Future Trunks manage to hold their ground but gain no advantage, while Goku, still drained from his own battle with Cell, finds himself overwhelmed as well. Gohan knows that every fighter except Trunks has already been wished back once, meaning the Dragon Balls cannot revive them a second time. This realization stirs his anger just enough for Cell to notice a brief flicker of rising power.

The onslaught grows worse. Yamcha's arm snaps under a Cell Junior's attack, and even Vegeta begins losing ground. Gohan desperately wants to help but cannot figure out how to unlock the rage simmering inside him.

Mr. Satan's Moment of Courage

Behind a nearby rock, Jimmy Firecracker urges Mr. Satan to flee while they still can. Android 16's severed head, lying on the ground nearby, speaks up and begs them to carry him close enough to Gohan. Mr. Satan hesitates, but 16 questions whether the World Champion truly deserves that title. Despite his terror, Mr. Satan agrees to help, reasoning that running away while unknown fighters risk their lives would ruin his reputation forever.

Mr. Satan grabs the android's head and sprints across the battlefield, trembling the entire way. Meanwhile, the Cell Juniors continue battering the Z Fighters, and Gohan begs Cell to call them off. Cell orders his children to stop toying with the group and finish them.

Android 16's Final Words

Mr. Satan hurls 16's head, and it bounces to a stop between Gohan and Cell. With his remaining strength, 16 tells Gohan that fighting to protect the things he loves is not wrong. He pleads with Gohan to protect the forests and the animals he cherished. Cell stomps on 16's head and destroys it completely. Watching the gentle android die before his eyes shatters Gohan's restraint. His power erupts violently, and every warrior on the battlefield stares in shock as his energy skyrockets beyond anything they have witnessed.
