The Supreme Kai Revealed

The third match between Videl and Spopovich is about to begin. The crowd roars for Videl as Shin lingers at ringside, fixing a hard stare on Spopovich before returning to the waiting area. Killa and Jewel remark on how drastically Spopovich has changed since the last tournament, noting that his body and demeanor are barely recognizable.

In the competitors' waiting room, Piccolo confronts Shin and asks whether he is the Grand Kai. Shin denies it, and then Kibito steps in to announce the truth: Shin is the Supreme Kai, the highest deity in the universe's divine hierarchy. Piccolo is stunned into silence. Shin asks him to keep the revelation quiet for now. Goku, oblivious to the gravity of the situation, asks Piccolo if Shin was talking trash and whether Goku should put him in his place. Piccolo cuts him off immediately, urging him to say nothing. Far away in Other World, King Kai picks up on the Supreme Kai's presence on Earth and can hardly believe it.

Videl's Fight Goes Wrong

Back in the ring, Videl takes the offensive and tears into Spopovich with a barrage of strikes. She knocks him around with ease, connecting with powerful kicks and rushes that would fell any normal martial artist. The crowd cheers every blow.

Yet something unnatural is happening. No matter how clean or devastating the hit, Spopovich absorbs the punishment and rises again without flinching. There is no sign of fatigue or pain. Gohan watches from the sidelines, stunned that Spopovich keeps standing. Goku's expression darkens as he realizes the situation is far from ordinary. Whatever is keeping Spopovich on his feet, it is not willpower or toughness; something else entirely is at work, and it changes everything about the fight unfolding before them.
