Dabura strikes without warning, killing Kibito and turning both Krillin and Piccolo to stone with his cursed saliva. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Supreme Kai descend into Babidi's underground spaceship to confront whatever awaits below, knowing the only way out is through victory.
Dabura wastes no time. He rockets toward Kibito, presses a hand to his face, and fires a point-blank energy blast that kills the attendant instantly. Before anyone can process what happened, Dabura spits toward the remaining bystanders. Supreme Kai shouts a warning about the nature of the saliva, but Krillin and Piccolo cannot react in time. The cursed spit strikes them both and their bodies harden into solid stone within seconds.
Goku, horrified, asks if there is any way to reverse the petrification. Supreme Kai explains that the only cure is Dabura's death. Goku takes this as good news, pointing out the simplicity of the solution. With his work done outside, Dabura retreats back into the spaceship, clearly baiting the remaining warriors to follow.
Goku and Gohan immediately agree to pursue Dabura inside. Supreme Kai protests, warning that entering the ship is exactly what the enemy wants. Vegeta dismisses the concern, stating plainly that waiting around is not something any of them excel at, and walks in after the others. Supreme Kai, left with no alternative, reluctantly follows the three Saiyans through the entrance.
The group descends through a long vertical shaft until they arrive in a spacious circular chamber deep within the vessel. Supreme Kai informs them that once inside, the only exit is to defeat Babidi himself. Vegeta suggests simply blowing through the floor, but Supreme Kai urgently warns against it. Any powerful shock to the ship could prematurely awaken Majin Buu, and even at partial energy, the creature would be strong enough to annihilate them all and destroy the entire planet.
From his observation room, Babidi watches through a crystal ball and dispatches Pui Pui to the chamber. The alien warrior struts in and announces that Babidi waits on the lowest floor, but reaching him is out of the question. Goku surveys the challenger with calm confidence, clearly unconvinced by the boast.
