The Cocoon Cracks Open

Smoke and steam erupt from Majin Buu's cocoon. Dabura and Babidi watch with anticipation, eager to witness the return of Bibidi's creation. Gohan and Supreme Kai observe the same spectacle with dread. As the cocoon begins to crack, Supreme Kai shouts at Gohan to run, insisting they stand no chance once Buu fully emerges.

Gohan refuses to retreat. He charges an Electric Kamehameha and fires it at full force. Dabura snatches Babidi and leaps clear. The beam strikes the cocoon, and Babidi scoffs that any assault is futile. Gohan keeps pushing, and eventually the cocoon launches into the air before crashing down with a heavy impact.

Majin Buu Emerges

Babidi and Dabura stare at the fallen cocoon. Nothing emerges. Supreme Kai allows himself a cautious grin, theorizing that millions of years sealed away weakened Buu enough for Gohan's attack to destroy the creature inside. He suggests Gohan defeat Dabura while he handles Babidi.

Gohan is not relieved. He senses an incredible power level, far beyond anything he has encountered. A colossal cloud forms overhead and begins shrinking, condensing into a solid form. Supreme Kai's hope turns to terror as he realizes the cloud is Majin Buu taking shape. Babidi watches in anticipation while Dabura stares in surprise.

Supreme Kai and Gohan watch in horror as the cloud solidifies into a plump pink creature wearing a purple cape, white pants, yellow boots and gloves, with small vents dotting his body, a short antenna, and two rounded ears. Majin Buu is complete. He lets out a joyful cheer and begins dancing, celebrating his freedom after millions of years. Gohan and Supreme Kai stand frozen, too late to stop what has begun.
