Gohan Lives

Goku rushes into King Yemma's office. Yemma asks about the flood of dead souls from Earth. Goku says the whole planet may follow, but needs to know if Son Gohan checked in before the wave began. Yemma says no, and he would have recognized Goku's son immediately. Gohan is alive. Yemma adds that Dabura, king of the Demon Realm, did pass through. Figuring Dabura would enjoy Hell, Yemma sent him to Heaven instead.

Goku realizes Videl was right. He picks up a faint ki signal from neither Earth nor the Kai Realm, locks on with Instant Transmission, and arrives at the Sacred World of the Kai to find Gohan training with the Z Sword.

Father and Son Reunited

Kibito protests another mortal on sacred ground. Goku fills Gohan in on everything. Gohan absorbs the grim news of Buu's rampage. Goku tries the Z Sword and confirms it is tremendously heavy. He asks Supreme Kai for permission to stay until Gohan is ready to fight Buu, and also requests food. They all head off, and Gohan says he wants to see Super Saiyan 3 after eating.

Buu and the Blind Boy

A full day has passed on Earth. Piccolo wakes the boys for their final day of Fusion training. On the surface, Buu has destroyed two-thirds of the population. He spots a boy walking alone and lands in front of him. The boy cheerfully says hello, showing no fear. Buu is baffled until the boy explains he has been blind since birth. Buu magically restores his sight. The boy opens his eyes, looks at Buu, and instead of screaming, thanks him warmly. He guesses Buu is a foreigner because of his antenna and says he is fairly cool, delighting Buu.

The boy offers money he was saving for milk, since all stores are closed. Buu tries eating it and finds it disgusting. He flies off, transforms a man into milk, and delivers it to the boy, saying milk is tastier. Buu then obliterates another town. Meanwhile, Gohan swings the Z Sword with ease. Goku praises his progress and picks up a boulder to test the blade's cutting power.
