Two Boos?!

Manga ChapterCh. 480

The steam cloud from Majin Buu solidifies into a skeletal second version born from pure evil. The two Buus clash, but the original is hopelessly outmatched because most of his power departed with the evil half. When the good Buu fires a Chocolate Beam, the evil one deflects it back, turning his counterpart into candy. After devouring it, Evil Buu transforms into a muscular new terror: Super Buu.

Evil Given Form

Everyone watches as the towering cloud of steam reshapes itself into a gaunt, emaciated version of Majin Buu. The rage that the original Buu had been suppressing has broken free and taken physical form. In essence, Buu has split into two beings: one retaining his childlike innocence, and the other embodying nothing but malice. The evil Buu wastes no time. He flies to the sniper who started all the chaos, absorbs the man's entire clip of bullets without flinching, and obliterates him with a single ki blast, leaving a gaping crater in the earth. Mr. Satan can only watch in horror.

A One-Sided Battle

The evil Buu charges the good Buu, and the two exchange punches. The fight is immediately lopsided. Evil Buu lands a brutal kick that sends his counterpart skidding across the ground, then pursues and pummels him without mercy. The imbalance is no coincidence: when the two separated, the vast majority of Buu's power went with the evil half. The innocent Buu never stood a real chance.

Desperate, the good Buu unleashes his Chocolate Beam, hoping to end the fight with a single transmutation. The evil Buu responds by simply blowing the beam back with his breath. The redirected energy strikes the good Buu and transforms him into a small piece of chocolate. Evil Buu picks up the candy, pops it into his mouth, and swallows.

A New Monster

The moment he consumes the chocolate, steam erupts from the evil Buu's body and he begins to change. His frame swells with muscle, his proportions shift, and when the vapor dissipates, an entirely new creature stands in place of the two former halves. This Buu is lean, powerful, and exudes a controlled menace that the previous versions lacked. Mr. Satan stares, struggling to comprehend what has happened. The newly formed Buu stretches, yawns, and then releases a scream so intense it cracks the ground beneath him and sends Satan tumbling through the air. High above on the Lookout, Piccolo senses the shift and is stunned by the magnitude of what has just occurred.
