Gotenks deploys his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack in full force. The first ghost detonates on contact and mangles Buu's body, proving the technique works. Gotenks then produces ten more ghosts, and after some comedic misfires and a surprisingly clever ambush, the ghostly squad blows Buu apart. Gotenks strikes a victory pose, convinced the battle is over.
The ghost hovers in the air, singing about how scary it is. Buu is confused, and Piccolo has no idea what he is witnessing. Gotenks commands the ghost to attack, and it flies straight at Buu. Buu casually backhands the apparition, but on contact it detonates in a massive explosion. Buu's body is left twisted and mangled. Gotenks excitedly explains the mechanic: even the slightest touch triggers a devastating blast. Piccolo urges him to finish Buu off immediately before he can recover.
Gotenks spits out ten ghosts at once. The squad of duplicates immediately begins goofing around, shoving each other and cracking jokes. Gotenks orders them to fall in line and face forward. Two of them start arguing, and Gotenks yells at them to obey. Each ghost shouts out its number.
Piccolo interrupts, pointing out that Buu has already regenerated. Gotenks is furious to see Buu sitting calmly with a cream soda and a car magazine, utterly unbothered. He sends ghosts number one and two charging forward, but Buu flies upward at the last instant, letting the ghosts crash into each other and explode harmlessly. Buu sticks out his tongue and taunts that he will not fall for the same trick twice.
Gotenks calls the remaining ghosts into a huddle. Two ghosts accidentally high-five and destroy each other, leaving only six. Five of them rush toward Buu, who braces for impact, but then the ghosts stop and crowd around something on the ground. They loudly wonder what the strange object is, and Buu's curiosity gets the better of him. He creeps over to look. The five ghosts leap onto him and detonate, reducing Buu to a gooey mess. Gotenks sends the final ghost straight into Buu's mouth for one last explosion. He strikes a dramatic pose with two victory signs, declaring it is all over.
