A Happy Ending... And Then...

Aftermath of the Battle

Kid Buu has vanished from existence completely, with not a single cell remaining. The Namekians and Supreme Kais celebrate. On Earth, Piccolo confirms to Gohan and the boys that Buu's ki is entirely gone. Mr. Satan broadcasts to the planet that Majin Buu is dead, and the crowds chant his name in gratitude. Everyone at the Lookout dances with joy, though Videl is displeased with her father's grandstanding.

Dende, the Supreme Kais, and the puppy Bee return via teleportation. Dende rushes to heal Goku, but Goku insists Vegeta be treated first. Bee suddenly breaks away from Mr. Satan and runs toward something in the rubble: the unconscious body of Good Buu.

The Fate of Good Buu

Mr. Satan begs Dende to heal Buu, but Vegeta objects violently and prepares to kill the creature. Mr. Satan pleads that Good Buu is not truly evil and offers to take personal responsibility. Goku intervenes, reminding Vegeta that both Good Buu and Mr. Satan helped fight Kid Buu. He suggests keeping Buu hidden for six months until the Dragon Balls regenerate, then asking Shenron to erase the public's memory. Vegeta snaps that he no longer cares what they decide.

A New Beginning

Once Good Buu is healed, Kibito Kai teleports the group to the Lookout, where friends and family rush to greet them. Panic briefly erupts when the crowd spots Buu beside Mr. Satan, but Goku reassures everyone. The world returns to peace. Mr. Satan is hailed as an ultimate hero. Six months later, Shenron erases Buu from public memory. Another ten years pass, and a teenage Trunks arrives at the Son household, where Goku and the others are training in the backyard.
