The Rage of Beerus

The Party Crashes

On King Kai's planet, Goku recovers from his defeat and realizes that Beerus is heading toward Earth, where Bulma is hosting her birthday celebration. On the cruise ship Princess Bulma, the situation deteriorates rapidly. Beerus confronts the partygoers about the Super Saiyan God, and when he receives no useful answers, violence erupts. Gohan and Majin Buu are dispatched by a single burst of force. Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks, who transforms into Super Saiyan 3 and charges at Beerus, only to be grabbed by the arm and hurled into the ocean.

Vegeta's Fury

Piccolo readies his Special Beam Cannon, but Vegeta stops him, insisting that resistance is pointless. A flashback reveals why Vegeta carries such deep fear: as a child on Planet Vegeta, he watched Beerus grind his boot into King Vegeta's head. Bulma, undeterred by any warnings, walks up to Beerus and slaps him for ruining her party. The entire gathering freezes. Beerus retaliates by slapping Bulma, and that single act shatters Vegeta's restraint entirely.

Consumed by rage, Vegeta surges into an enraged Super Saiyan 2 state and lands several strikes, driving Beerus from the ship to the water and blasting him skyward. Krillin notes that Vegeta appears stronger than ever. Despite this ferocious display, Beerus emerges unharmed and threatens to annihilate the planet. Goku materializes via Instant Transmission and asks for time.

The Kais Spot Trouble

On the Sacred World of the Kai, Old Kai notices planets vanishing despite Beerus being on Earth. He discovers Champa and Vados roaming the cosmos, speaking of enormous wish orbs. The pair detects the Kais spying and teleports to confront them. Old Kai and Kibito Kai deny hearing anything. Unconvinced but uninterested in pressing further, Champa departs. Suspecting the pair may be hunting Namekian Dragon Balls, Old Kai dispatches Kibito Kai to protect them on New Namek.
