Moro's scouting party arrives on Earth far sooner than expected after Seven-Three steals a warp portal ability. The android copies Piccolo's powers and turns them against him while Krillin struggles against Yunba. Gohan arrives in time to save his mentor, now Earth's strongest available fighter.
Bulma briefs Krillin on the situation. Gohan is at a college lecture and Tien Shinhan is unreachable. Jaco arrives and complains about the shortage of fighters. Esca greets Dende, and Jaco tells Piccolo they are the last three surviving Namekians. The caged Pasta Macareni taunts them, revealing the main scouting force is heading to Earth. In space, Shimorekka, Seven-Three, and Yunba are en route. Seven-Three notes Earth has little recorded value, though his data is outdated. They stop at a nearby planet so Yunba can eat.
Jaco warns the group that Seven-Three is the real danger: an emotionless artificial being whose signature ability lets him steal the powers of anyone he grabs by the neck for thirty minutes. On the pit-stop planet, Seven-Three copies a local's abilities and notices another local opening a warp portal to flee. He steals that power too, and all three enemies materialize on the Lookout instantly. Shimorekka moves to execute the Macareni Gang on Moro's orders, but Piccolo intervenes. Seven-Three appears behind Piccolo at blinding speed, seizes his neck, and copies his powers. Piccolo breaks free, barely dodges his own Special Beam Cannon, and dives after Jaco when a stretching-arm punch knocks him off the Lookout.
Piccolo faces a mirror match against Seven-Three with one critical disadvantage: the android has limitless stamina. On the Lookout, Yunba curls into a ball and smashes Krillin and Mr. Satan through the sanctuary walls. Below, Piccolo and Seven-Three clash with dueling Special Beam Cannons, but Piccolo's energy fades steadily. Just as he appears overwhelmed, Gohan arrives and saves him. Piccolo warns Gohan about the copying ability and tells him plainly: with Goku and Vegeta away, he is the strongest fighter left on Earth. Elsewhere, Goku doubts he ever truly used Ultra Instinct. Merus tells him the fastest path is to replicate the life-or-death crisis that triggered it, and Goku must accept the risk of dying. On Yardrat, Vegeta meditates impatiently as Pybara insists he must first stabilize his spirit.
