Moro's army arrives on Earth, forcing the defenders to split across multiple fronts. Gohan and Piccolo coordinate against Seven-Three while Yamcha, Krillin, and Tien each face their own opponents. When Seven-Three activates Moro's absorption, Android 17 and 18 arrive to turn the tide with their drain-proof energy.
Jaco and several Galactic Patrol officers arrive on Earth and join Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and Master Roshi on the Lookout. Good Buu is returned as well, but before anyone can regroup, Moro's Spaceship enters the atmosphere. Half a dozen smaller ships scatter across the globe, opening fire on cities while their pilots disembark to loot. Master Roshi suggests they fan out to meet the threat while Gohan and Piccolo hold position for the main enemy.
Krillin and Roshi encounter Yunba first. Krillin charges in, declaring he trained two full months for this. Three female convicts arrive but move on to wreak havoc elsewhere, and Roshi chases after them. Tien and Chiaotzu engage Bikkura Quoitur. Yamcha squares off against three henchmen in a nearby city and defeats them all decisively, telling the Galactic Patrol officers to arrest them before heading off to find more.
On the Lookout, Seven-Three drops behind Gohan and Piccolo while camouflaged, grabs both by the neck, and steals their abilities. He fires a Special Beam Cannon, but Gohan blocks it with an energy shield. Piccolo fires his own and tears away a chunk of Seven-Three's body, though the android regenerates using Namekian biology. Seven-Three switches to Gohan's powers and launches a barrage. Gohan uses Piccolo's blasts as midair footholds to close the gap and punches the android into the sea. Together they unleash the Masenko Beam Cannon, devastating Seven-Three but failing to finish him. Shimorekka orders a switch to Moro's absorption. Before the drain takes hold, Android 17 and 18 arrive with kicks to both enemies' faces. Piccolo notes their artificial energy is immune to absorption. Aboard his ship, Moro declares he will handle the situation personally. On Yardrat, Vegeta senses the trouble but stays to master his new technique. Goku, meanwhile, has stopped on a random planet to ask locals for directions home.
