Goku escalates through multiple transformations against the Cerealian warrior Granolah on Planet Cereal. After combining Ultra Instinct with Super Saiyan Blue fails to overcome Granolah's pressure point targeting, Goku unveils Perfected Ultra Instinct as his final trump card, only to fall victim to a devastating clone strategy.
The conflict on Planet Cereal intensifies as Goku, fighting in Super Saiyan Blue, closes in on Granolah through a barrage of energy blasts. Granolah retreats into the forest, swinging from a tree by his scarf to deliver a counter-kick. Goku weathers the Cerealian's strikes and unleashes a burst of aura that demolishes the surrounding trees. He then merges Ultra Instinct with Perfected Super Saiyan Blue, but Granolah dismisses the combination, having already mapped its patterns. Goku fires a point-blank Kamehameha, yet Granolah lands a pressure point strike on his neck in the same instant, forcing Goku back to his base form.
Granolah explains that his evolved right eye locks onto pressure points without fail. Goku refuses to accept this, believing a true master of Ultra Instinct should have no openings. Granolah erupts the ground beneath Goku with planet-fueled energy, launching him skyward. Goku escapes via Instant Transmission and regroups with Vegeta, who reveals that the Cerealians were wiped out by Saiyans under Frieza's orders. They realize Granolah is the last survivor and the Heeters deceived them. Goku transforms into Perfected Ultra Instinct, his silver-haired form leaving Granolah unable to detect any pressure points.
Goku overwhelms Granolah, tearing off his goggles and battering him across the forest. Yet the Cerealian's energy does not drop as expected. Granolah reveals he divided his power at the start, fighting through a clone while his true body waited in his spaceship. The real Granolah teleports to Goku and strikes a pressure point over his heart, briefly stopping it and dropping him from Perfected Ultra Instinct. A final blow sends Goku crashing through miles of forest. Vegeta steps forward, uninterested in diplomacy, and tells Granolah he will soon be joining the rest of his people.
