Restored by the Senzu Bean, Granolah rejoins the battle against a wish-empowered Gas. The Cerealian reunites with his companion Oatmeel, apologizes for casting him aside, and challenges Gas to a rematch. Vegeta and Goku observe from the sidelines, noting that Gas has only just acquired his new strength and cannot yet wield it effectively.
Aboard the Heeter flagship, a subordinate suggests moving the ship further from the fighting, but Elec insists they stay until the outcome is decided. On the ground, Oil and Macki corner Monaito, demanding to know where Vegeta went. Granolah eats the Senzu Bean and recovers instantly. Using Instant Transmission, he appears between the Heeters and Monaito, blasting Oil and Macki into a cliff with a Kiai. Monaito passes Oatmeel back to him. Granolah apologizes for his earlier mistreatment and thanks his companion for the loyalty. Powering up fully, he calls out Gas for another round.
Gas, intrigued, tosses a beaten Goku aside and faces the restored Granolah. The Heeter fights using his alteration-type ki manipulation, shaping energy into a variety of weapons. With Oatmeel providing tactical support, Granolah holds his own. Goku asks Vegeta for a status update, and the prince reports Granolah is performing at least as well as Gas. Vegeta further observes that Gas, having only just obtained the title of strongest through his wish, cannot fully harness his new power. Granolah taunts Gas, demanding to know why he relies only on personal techniques rather than the wish-granted abilities. He moves in for a decisive strike. Gas accepts the necessity of his wish-born power and effortlessly blasts Granolah away, admitting this feels like failure since he wanted to finish with his own skills.
Gas demonstrates his new capabilities by dodging a barrage of blasts via Instant Transmission and slamming a burst of Hakai into Granolah's stomach. Granolah strips off his tattered vest and acknowledges he always knew Gas would not fall easily. The two launch into a high-speed aerial clash interwoven with constant teleportation. Despite Gas holding clear advantages in speed and power, Granolah proves far from finished. Vegeta points out that Gas's use of Instant Transmission is sloppy compared to Granolah's, meaning the Cerealian still has a path to victory.
