Just as the battle on Cereal seems settled, Gas re-emerges and fatally wounds Monaito. Goku and Vegeta transform once more but are outmatched by Gas's decaying yet overwhelming power. Frieza then arrives, effortlessly kills Gas and Elec, and unveils Black Frieza, defeating both Saiyans in a single strike before departing with Oil and Macki as his newest subordinates.
After Granolah's attack, the Cerealian collapses coughing blood, his lifespan shortened further. Monaito discovers his healing ability has ripened from constant use, allowing him to fully restore Granolah, Goku, and Vegeta. Just as Elec prepares to retreat, Gas rises and fires a near-fatal blast through Monaito's chest. Goku and Vegeta transform into True Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego to fight Gas again. Though overpowered, they notice Gas's body visibly decaying with every exchange.
Elec urges Gas to finish his enemies before time runs out. Macki suggests retreat, but Elec slaps her aside and reveals that making Gas the strongest required sacrificing nearly all of his natural lifespan. Gas is horrified to learn he is dying.
Frieza arrives on Cereal. Gas powers up and declares he will kill the tyrant, but Frieza ends the confrontation by running his hand through Gas's torso. Gas crumbles to a skeleton before Frieza crushes his skull. Frieza reveals he always knew about the Heeters' plot and notes that Elec is the weakest of his family. Elec lunges in desperation and is obliterated.
Frieza explains he found a room where time flows differently and trained for ten years inside it, likely exempting himself from Gas's wish. He transforms into Black Frieza and defeats both Saiyans with a single blow each. He spares them, recruits the cowering Oil and Macki as servants, and departs. Whis appears, heals Monaito as a favor, and urges Goku and Vegeta to return since Beerus cannot make instant yakisoba. Granolah declines Goku's training invitation, choosing to gather the Dragon Balls and repair Cereal. Vegeta gives him the Dragon Radar, and Monaito gives Goku his father's scouter.
