On Beerus' Planet, Vegeta shifts from physical training to mental discipline, recognizing their raw power already rivals the universe's best. On Earth, Piccolo uses the Dragon Balls to have Shenron unlock his dormant power, along with a mysterious bonus. He then volunteers for the Red Ribbon Army's plan to kidnap Pan, staging the abduction himself to force Gohan back into fighting shape.
On Beerus' Planet, Goku and Broly spar until Broly starts losing control. Nearby, Vegeta meditates and explains to Goku that their physical bodies have reached their limits. In raw power, they stand alongside Jiren, Broly, Moro, Gas, and Frieza. The gap lies in application, so Vegeta now trains his mind. Whis applauds the insight but Vegeta declines a three-way sparring session if Broly is involved.
Beerus wakes from a four-month nap to find Lemo, Cheelai, and Broly living on his planet. Goku explains it keeps Broly safe from Frieza. After sampling Lemo's cooking, Beerus permits them to stay and everyone shares a feast.
On Earth, Piccolo asks Dende to unlock his latent potential the way Grand Elder Guru once did for Gohan and Krillin. Dende admits he is too young for the technique but suggests the Dragon Balls could accomplish the same thing. At Capsule Corporation, Piccolo takes the first wish and has Shenron unleash his dormant power. The dragon mentions throwing in a bonus as well. Bulma uses the remaining wishes on cosmetic changes, then realizes they could have wished Goku and Vegeta home. Piccolo scolds her, only for Bulma to note he failed to think of it either. Trunks phones Goten, sensing something big is coming.
Inside the Red Ribbon compound, Magenta and Carmine plan to kidnap Gohan's daughter to lure him in without public exposure. Piccolo, still in his stolen uniform, volunteers for the mission, claiming familiarity with the girl as Mr. Satan's granddaughter. Paired with Soldier 15, he reasons that a staged kidnapping is exactly the shock Gohan needs to reawaken his fighting instincts.
