Orange Piccolo Dominates

At Capsule Corporation, Trunks learns Piccolo is fighting androids and admits he and Goten already encountered Dr. Hedo's earlier creations. He warns the current models are far stronger. Bulma demands to know why he kept this secret.

At the base, Piccolo rises in his Orange form. Gamma 2 charges and throws a barrage of punches, but Piccolo barely flinches and drops him with a single blow. Pan plows through a squad of soldiers, and Magenta and Carmine begin retreating.

The Gammas Switch Sides

Cornered by Pan, Carmine fires a handgun at the three-year-old. She dodges every shot. Outraged, the Gammas finally realize they have been serving villains. They cease fighting Gohan and Piccolo and stand down. Pan knocks Carmine out while Magenta slips deeper into the compound.

Inside, Magenta moves to awaken Cell Max. Dr. Hedo tries to stop him but is shot. Hedo shrugs it off thanks to his toughened skin. Magenta reveals a cybernetically enhanced body beneath his suit, but Hachimaru stings his neck with lethal venom. Dying, Magenta releases the final locks on Cell Max's chamber.

Cell Max Unleashed

The heroes regroup alongside the Gammas. Bulma arrives with Trunks, Goten, Krillin, and Android 18. Piccolo is surprised at how much the boys have grown. Gohan explains that Saiyans stay small until a sudden growth spurt. Asked about his transformation, Piccolo credits Shenron's bonus and names the form Orange Piccolo.

The sky darkens. A colossal red creature resembling second-form Cell, with wings, erupts from below. Dr. Hedo flees in a hover vehicle but is caught in the blast. The Gammas rush to protect their creator and are overwhelmed. Piccolo tosses Gohan a Senzu Bean, but without his glasses he fumbles the catch and it falls into a crack. Trunks and Goten step forward as Saiyaman X-1 and X-2 and charge into battle against Cell Max.
