With time frozen, Jaco and Omori race toward the falling Twinkle 8 in Jaco's spaceship. Jaco boards the plummeting vessel, rescues Tights and Captain Okawari, then kicks the fuel-laden rocket into the sea and destroys it with his Ray Gun, saving East City. Cleared of all charges, the "Mask Man" is officially rechristened "Mr. Super Elite."
Flying through frozen time, Jaco and Omori spot the Twinkle 8 suspended motionless above East City. As they approach, time resumes and the rocket begins falling again. Jaco positions his spaceship alongside the descending vessel. His plan is bold: he will jump onto the rocket while Omori pilots the ship nearby. After handing Omori a communicator, Jaco climbs out of the cockpit, latches onto the antenna, and fires his Ray Gun to blast open the boarding hatch.
Jaco leaps inside and reaches Tights and Captain Okawari. Tights is overjoyed, confident he would come. Jaco removes their restraints and pulls both passengers out, depositing them safely in the spaceship's cockpit with Omori. However, Tights warns that the Twinkle 8 is still loaded with fuel. If it hits the ground, it will level East City.
Jaco allows himself to be persuaded. He drops from the spaceship, ricochets off a building, and launches himself at the rocket. With a powerful kick, he deflects it toward the open sea, then fires his Ray Gun to detonate it safely over the water. Katayude's squad observes the explosion from the island, stunned. Jaco lands in the city with a triumphant pose. Two children recognize him as the "Mask Man," and he insists his name is "The Mysterious Hero Super Elite."
Back on the island, Katayude apologizes, thanks them for saving East City, and grants Omori permission to remain. He believes Jaco is a robot built by Omori, and Tights and Omori quickly cover Jaco's mouth before he can correct the error. That evening, the trio watches news coverage confirming all charges are dropped and the hero is rechristened "Mr. Super Elite." The updated sketch, however, barely differs from the original, leaving Jaco fuming. He takes Tights and Omori on a short orbit of Earth, grumbling darkly about humanity the entire way.
