A Hero Avatar promotion exclusive to the Dragon Ball Heroes game series that advances the player character from Super Class to god-tier power, granting race-specific transformations such as Super Saiyan God for Saiyans.
God Class-up is a progression mechanic within the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game and its console adaptation Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission. It represents the third tier of the Hero Avatar class system, sitting above the Super Class-up and below the more powerful Super God Class-up. When a player promotes their Hero Avatar to God Class, the character undergoes both a power increase and a visual transformation that varies depending on their chosen race.
For Saiyan avatars, the God Class-up is particularly significant because it grants access to the Super Saiyan God transformation. Unlike in the main series, where Super Saiyan God requires either the ritual of five righteous Saiyans or training with divine beings, the Heroes game system treats it as a class promotion reward. Once a Saiyan avatar reaches God Class, they gain permanent access to Super Saiyan God and will remain in that form as long as they maintain their God Class status. The Saiyan race avatars also receive the G Kamehameha Mode as a special ability upon reaching this tier.
Non-Saiyan avatars receive their own race-specific enhancements. Majin, Frieza Race, Namekian, Android, Shinjin, Dark Demon God, and God of Destruction avatars all gain unique transformations and power increases appropriate to their species, along with new outfits or outfit modifications that visually distinguish them from their lower-class versions.
