Ultimate Class-up Sign is the penultimate Hero Avatar promotion in Dragon Ball Heroes, sitting above Super God Class-up and below the final Ultimate Class-up. It grants most avatars access to Ultra Instinct Sign, while certain Saiyan avatars can opt for a Full Power Style path instead.
Ultimate Class-up Sign occupies the second-highest position in the Hero Avatar progression system within Dragon Ball Heroes. Its Japanese name includes the kanji for "omen" or "sign," directly connecting it to the Ultra Instinct Sign form that Goku first displayed during the Tournament of Power. For most Hero Avatar races, achieving this tier grants them the ability to tap into Ultra Instinct Sign, reflected by a silver tint to their irises and a corresponding boost to their combat parameters.
The tier sits between Super God Class-up and Ultimate Class-up in the promotion hierarchy. Players who have already reached the godly tiers of avatar progression can advance to this level, gaining power that corresponds to one of the strongest techniques ever displayed in the main Dragon Ball continuity.
A notable feature of this class is the Full Power Style alternative available to specific Saiyan avatars. Beat and Note, two prominent Saiyan Hero characters, can switch away from the Ultra Instinct path and instead access Super Saiyan 4 and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker. This branching option reflects the split between the Ultra Instinct and Super Saiyan 4 power tracks that exists across different Dragon Ball continuities, giving players the choice between the godly technique pathway and the primal Saiyan evolution pathway.
Not every avatar displays the silver-eyed Ultra Instinct Sign look upon achieving this class. The God of Destruction avatars, including Shandy, Saria, and Caser, gain new outfit designs but retain their normal eye color. Salaga's eyes remain identical to his previous Super God Class-up state. These exceptions suggest that the connection between Ultimate Class-up Sign and actual Ultra Instinct mastery varies depending on the avatar's nature and race.
