Dragon Ball Voice Work

Wells voiced Master Roshi in the Harmony Gold English adaptation of the original Dragon Ball series and Dragon Ball films including Curse of the Blood Rubies and Mystical Adventure. The Harmony Gold dub represented one of the earliest English-language presentations of Dragon Ball to Western audiences, and Wells' portrayal helped establish the wise mentor character in English. His voice work grounded Roshi's comedic yet experienced personality during the early stages of Goku's adventure.
