Snegoff also provided voice direction for studio productions of My Neighbor Totoro, Crying Freeman, and Kiki's Delivery Service. In addition, he penned dialogue scripts for Captain Harlock and the Queen of a Thousand Years. Snegoff came from a family of entertainment professionals; his grandfather was an actor, his father Marc Snegoff was a makeup artist, and his mother Alexandra Kenworthy was a voice actress. He was married to fellow voice actor Lisa Michelson until her death in 1991.
