Japanese voice actor Kiyoyuki Yanada was born in Tokyo and became known for his work in Dragon Ball GT, where he voiced General Rilldo and Nappa. He passed away in November 2022 at age 57.
Kiyoyuki Yanada contributed his voice to Dragon Ball GT, the sequel series that continued the Dragon Ball saga. He voiced General Rilldo, the primary antagonist of the Baby arc, and also provided the voice for Nappa, the Saiyan warrior from Dragon Ball Z flashbacks and appearances. His distinctive vocal performances helped bring these characters to life for Japanese television audiences during the franchise's extended run.
A member of the talent agency 81 Produce, Yanada worked extensively in anime voice acting and appeared in live-action productions as well, including the tokusatsu series Engine Sentai Go-onger. He was known and respected by fellow voice actors in the industry, with colleague Mitsuaki Madono announcing his passing in November 2022.
