A species of tall, green-skinned humanoids with reptilian skin texture and cobra-like hoods on their heads. Members appear to work as mercenaries, serving whoever pays the highest price. Their most prominent member, Ledgic, served as Don Kee's personal enforcer on Planet Imecka in Dragon Ball GT, while others have served in the Frieza Force.
Ledgic's race is a species of tall, imposing humanoids who stand well above the average Earthling in height. Their most striking physical features are their green skin with a reptilian texture and the cobra-like hood that frames their heads, giving them a serpentine appearance that matches their predatory nature. Their blood runs red, a detail revealed when the Sigma Force analyzed footage of Goku's fight against Ledgic.
The species appears to be culturally inclined toward mercenary work, selling their considerable combat skills to the highest bidder. This disposition places them alongside numerous other warrior races in the Dragon Ball universe who operate outside any national or political allegiance, motivated primarily by payment and the thrill of battle.
Ledgic, the first and most prominent member of this race to appear in the franchise, served as the personal bodyguard of the Imeckian tyrant Don Kee on Planet Imecka during Dragon Ball GT. He was unique among his kind for possessing spikes on his shoulders, which he could channel ki through to create energy-based weapons. When Goku, Pan, and Trunks arrived on Imecka, Ledgic proved to be a formidable opponent, providing one of the first serious challenges of the Grand Tour arc.
Members of this race also appear in the Frieza Force. In the manga adaptation of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, a soldier from this species served in the New Frieza Army and participated in the invasion of Earth, where he was swiftly defeated by Jaco the Galactic Patrolman. In the 1997 Dragon Ball GT live show, Don Kee invaded Earth seeking revenge and brought two additional soldiers of this race who closely resembled Ledgic except for their black-colored mouth area.
The appearance of this race in both Dragon Ball GT and the Resurrection F manga demonstrates their presence across multiple eras and factions within the Dragon Ball timeline. Whether serving a petty planetary tyrant or the galaxy's most feared conqueror, members of this species consistently gravitate toward positions that leverage their fighting abilities for profit.
Ledgic remains the most developed character from this race. His encounter with Goku on Imecka ended not in death but in a warrior's acknowledgment of superior strength. After losing to Goku, Ledgic departed Imecka to train and become stronger, exhibiting the same drive for self-improvement that characterizes Dragon Ball's most respected fighters. This makes him one of the few GT-era villains to survive his introductory arc with both his life and his dignity intact.
