Vewonean and Sinkleean

The Vewoneans and Sinkleeans are two distinct but nearly indistinguishable alien races hailing from the planets Vewon and Sinkle respectively. Their physical resemblance to each other is so strong that they are typically discussed as a single entry, and both bear similarities to the Mixxileean species.

Their Japanese designations are Buon-seijin (People of Vuon) and Sinkle-seijin (People of Sinkle). The English name "Vewonean" derives from the later character Buon being localized as "Vewon" in the English dub, creating one of those naming tangles that frequently arise in Dragon Ball's translation history.

Both races appear in Dragon Ball Online as members of the Frieza Force's expansive roster of conscripted species. Their presence in the army follows the familiar pattern: their homeworlds were brought under Frieza's control, and their populations were drafted into military service.

Some members have been observed wielding laser swords, suggesting a degree of combat specialization beyond the standard arm cannon or ki-blast approach used by most low-ranking Frieza Force soldiers. Cyborg variants of the Vewonean type have also been documented, indicating that at least some members underwent technological augmentation to enhance their battlefield effectiveness.

The most prominent member of these twin races is Archie, who achieved elite status within the Frieza Force. For a member of species that receives almost no narrative attention, reaching the elite tier represents a notable accomplishment within the army's rigid hierarchy.

The Vewoneans and Sinkleeans are representative of the dozens of obscure alien races that populate Dragon Ball Online's expanded universe. They exist to fill out the ranks of the Frieza Force, providing the visual variety and sense of galactic scale that made the empire feel genuinely vast. Their near-identical nature raises interesting questions about whether two separate planets could produce such similar species independently, or if they share a common evolutionary ancestor.
