Personality

Devotion to Naki drives almost everything he does. Shousei would lay down his life for the man and refuses to speak ill of him under any circumstances. On assignments he keeps a certain courtesy, telling his partner Hooguro that he would rather handle their work cleanly than messily. Like the rest of Aogiri's fighters, he accepts killing as part of the job and knows the Commission could end him on any given day.

History

Kanae von Rosewald hired Shousei among the assassins meant to wipe out the Quinx Squad. Working with Hooguro, he drew Sasaki away from his teammates, but the White Suits were swiftly outmatched and fled once the rest of the squad returned. Back at Aogiri's base, Naki briefed the group on Kanou's scheme to revive Gagi and Guge. Shousei later joined the ambush on the CCG convoy after the Tsukiyama extermination and made off with Ginshi Shirazu's body. When Aogiri disbanded and Naki threw in with Ken Kaneki's Goat, Shousei followed. During the Rushima landing he clashed with Squad 3 and escaped alongside Aogiri's leadership, and he was present for the tense gathering when Naki and Kaneki came into conflict afterward. In the years that followed he stayed with the united effort, minded Naki's children, absorbed human learning to teach other ghouls, and gave his life over to standing by Naki. In combat he wields an ukaku kagune that fires off sizable spikes, and he shares a finger-cracking habit passed down from Naki, who picked it up from Yamori.
