American voice actress and writer known for her extensive anime dubbing work, including Dragon Ball film roles and the iconic character Lynn Minmei in Robotech.
Forstadt voiced Penny in the Harmony Gold English dub of Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies and provided the voice for Chiaotzu in the Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure. These roles placed her among the earliest English-speaking voice actors to bring Dragon Ball characters to Western audiences during the Harmony Gold localization era. Though her Dragon Ball contributions were limited to two film appearances, they marked her early participation in anime dubbing that would define her career.
Forstadt's breakthrough came voicing Lynn Minmei in the English dub of Robotech, and she went on to voice hundreds of anime characters, including roles in Code Geass, Rozen Maiden, Mobile Suit Gundam, and the Tenchi franchise. She also wrote dub scripts for Digimon: Digital Monsters episodes. In live-action work, she appeared in Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, and L.A. Law. After studying theater at Orange Coast College in California, she performed at Knott's Berry Farm and worked in wardrobe for major television productions before establishing herself as one of anime's pioneering English voice actresses.
