Summary

News crews declare the Assassin Exhibition of the Century underway, walking viewers through the trade's weaponry and attire. Coverage highlights the venue's dense security, with guards posted at every corner and reporting in without pause.

A family stops to admire a teddy bear once repurposed as a weapon, and when they complain they cannot see it well, Osaragi shatters the display glass to pass it to them. Elsewhere, Sakamoto's team browses the exhibits and runs into Kaji, who cleared the JCC transfer exam alongside Shin. As the group greets Sakamoto, he takes a call from Wutang, who reports on his findings about Uzuki's split personality. The scene follows the team across each floor of the museum until they notice a boy standing alone, and Kaji identifies him as Mafuyu.

Mafuyu remembers Kaji and Shin from the exam. When Kaji asks why he is there, Mafuyu admits he was taken captive, then drives a punch into Kaji's throat. The blow leaves Kaji voiceless, unable to shout for Shin as no sound will come out.
