Summary
Sprawled on the ground and drawing his last breaths, Kureo Mado spits fresh insults at ghouls and renews his oath to destroy the One-Eye with the hand he has left. Once he dies, Touka Kirishima pulls the glove from that hand and is startled to find a wedding ring, proof that he, too, had loved ones waiting at home.
Renji Yomo and Kaneki reach the scene, and Yomo urges a quick departure before anyone discovers them. Koutarou Amon at last finds Mado, only to be crushed by the sight of his mentor's corpse.
