Known simply as Fumi, this Joseph Joestar is a brief but pivotal figure in JoJolion, a Morioh teenager in 1941 who aids the visiting Lucy Steel. A grandson of Johnny Joestar and Rina Higashikata, he wields a vine spawning Stand and later becomes an ancestor of the Joestars of The JOJOLands.
A teenager of unremarkable height, Fumi keeps his light hair cropped into a buzzcut, broken only by two stray strands that point outward beneath a trio of small spheres near his hairline. His face reads as boyish, with rounded dark eyes set above a modest nose. Over a collared shirt he pulls a long sleeved sweater stitched with a horse's head inside a horseshoe crest, its collar trimmed in a checkered border. Baggy knee length shorts, a belt carrying a little pouch at either hip, and bare feet in wooden geta complete the look. The Joestar star sits on his left shoulder, and his Stand seems to sprout from that very mark.
Fumi reacts fast and rarely hesitates to lend a hand to anyone struggling. His devotion to his girlfriend runs deep enough that, once a pickpocket empties his wallet, he takes a stranger's paid errand simply to salvage their planned outing. He carries a store of local knowledge, rattling off rumors like the so called Radio Gaga tragedy and naming the area's plants and wildlife with ease. Courtesy and concern for others define him, and he consistently places another person's safety over his own. A jumpier side shows too, since scattered bird remains near the guardrail rattle him badly, and once the local curse proves real he wants nothing more than to escape, though never while leaving Lucy behind. Even frightened, he throws himself into danger the instant someone needs pulling out of it.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Born in 1924 and raised in S City, Fumi is the son of George Joestar III and a grandson of Johnny Joestar and Rina Higashikata, the latter of whom chose his name. His brush with the wider Joestar saga comes in 1941, when he heads to the local station to meet his girlfriend and instead catches a thief robbing the elderly Lucy Steel of her luggage. Flinging a wooden sandal drives the crook off, and a grateful Lucy offers twenty thousand yen for a day of guiding and hauling her gear. He declines at first, wanting his date, but the same thief has lifted his wallet, so he accepts and gives only his nickname.
The pair travel to the orchard on Morioh's hunting grounds, where Lucy's driver falls under a strange compulsion, sheds his clothes, and vanishes near the guardrail that legend calls Radio Gaga. When the same force begins pulling Lucy into a gap in the rail, Fumi hauls her clear and hears about the Locacaca plant she has crossed the ocean to study. Trading places to let the driver's remains drag him instead, he exposes the Joestar star on his shoulder, which tells Lucy exactly who he is. She urges him to summon his vine producing Stand, and he uses it to sling the car into Radio Gaga before revealing his true name and carrying her to safety. He later follows Lucy to America, where the war seals off the Pacific crossings and strands him. He becomes her assistant, earns schooling and citizenship in New York, and takes work at an Atlantic City casino hotel. In 1952 he meets Suzi Q of the Speedwagon Foundation, marries her, and fathers a pair of daughters, Holy Joestar-Kira and Barbara Ann Joestar; Part 9 later follows his grandsons Jodio and Dragona.
