Summary

Rocketing upward, Koichi Haimawari reasons that fetching All Might is the sensible play, since brawling with a villain this vicious is beyond him. Speed or not, the danger everyone below is in turns him around, and he doubles back toward Number 6. The instant he does, every Anonymous body closing on Soga Kugisaki, the police, and the pair of Rapt Tokage and Moyuru Tochi goes still.

Number 6 mocks him for showing up, then wonders aloud whether this is really the man he met before, since the charred face looks nothing alike. Realizing he never put his own face on, he panics and reshapes it with Bomber cells into the features of Rokuro Nomura. That face ranks among his favorites, he says, and because he modeled it on Koichi directly, Koichi has to go. He drifts into a fantasy of removing Koichi so he can mend things with Kazuho Haneyama and revive their Rock and Pop act, while the O'Clock voice calls her a liability worth erasing.

Koichi drops to his knees and begs for that trade, offering to vanish if she is spared. Puzzled, Number 6 clarifies that vanishing means dying and readies an explosive stomp. From the kowtow Koichi sweeps his legs with Slide and Glide, launching him airborne where Overclock cannot help him. Koichi remembers Soga's advice: no fair fight is winnable, but the man talks endlessly out of pride or hunger for respect, and that opening allows a blast to the face that ends it. Lining up the lethal shot, Koichi pictures Kazuho's expression, flinches, and fires wide. Number 6 flashes behind him, tells him to commit, and buries an explosive punch into him.
