Vigilantes chapter fifty-five handles the wreckage left by the Sky Egg attack, with All Might dodging reporters and letting one careless word slip in front of a detective. Number 6 refuses to accept defeat and throws two hundred more bombs at the crowd to prove a point.
Coverage of the Bombers' assault on the Tokyo Sky Egg dominates the news, along with All Might's rescue as the tower came apart. Pressed for comment, he takes no credit, noting only that nobody died and crediting relief workers, law enforcement, and the pro heroes before slipping away from the cameras. Reverted to Toshinori Yagi, he finds Naomasa Tsukauchi in private and says he intends to linger nearby in case a second wave comes.
The Marukane Performers hand out event hoodies, food, and drinks to the shaken crowd for free. Makoto knows the giveaway guts her budget and does not care; money is beside the point, and the whole troupe, performers and staff alike, should be helping.
Told that Naomasa's sister is safe and busy, All Might waves off the detective's apology for losing his temper, since it was that outburst that brought him running in time. He explains that his strength answers to his mind: a plea for help registers like a direct order. He accepted this power, he says, to save people and give them hope. The word accepted catches Naomasa's ear, and All Might realizes he has let a piece of One For All slip. Fat Gum, Monika Kaniyashiki, and Eraser Head interrupt before the question lands, and Naomasa introduces the skinny stranger, leaving Toshinori to figure the full explanation is coming eventually.
From a rooftop, the Scarred Man seethes over his ruined plan and refuses to fold. His device makes the wrecked Bombers knit together, swell, and rupture into roughly two hundred miniature versions, a spread he is certain no hero can fully contain. The chaos gives Toshinori his opening; back as All Might, a Nebraska Smash whips up a small tornado that draws in and sets off every last one.
The Scarred Man can only laugh at a person like that existing. A voice in his earpiece calls him Number 6 and tells him what he witnessed is simply true: All Might stands far above every other hero, a genuine deus ex machina and precisely what the Villain Factory hopes to build. With his creatures gone and his laboratory in ruins, Number 6 decides to disappear for a while. He does not know that Knuckleduster already has him centered in a sniper scope.
All Might publicly credits everyone but himself for the Sky Egg rescue, then admits to Naomasa that his Quirk was accepted rather than inherited at birth, an unguarded hint at what One For All actually is.
Number 6 regenerates the Bombers into two hundred miniature units, and All Might annihilates all of them with Nebraska Smash. The organization's boss speaks to Number 6 by earpiece, and Knuckleduster takes aim at him as he prepares to withdraw.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Nineteen pages, published June 7, 2019 and collected in volume eight of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court. The Crawler and Kazuho Haneyama appear on the cover. The chapter continues the Sky Egg arc and is adapted as Episode 25.
Serialization ran the chapter as Number One Hero (Nanbā Wan Hīrō) before the title was changed for the collected volume. Chapter 54 precedes it and Chapter 56 follows.
Chapter 55 comes from the manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, and is collected in volume 8.
Chapter 55 covers the aftermath of the Sky Egg attack, with All Might deflecting reporters' praise before Number 6 regenerates the destroyed Bombers into roughly two hundred miniature explosives that All Might wipes out with a single Nebraska Smash.
All Might lets slip that he "accepted" his Quirk rather than being born with it, a comment that hints at the true nature of One For All and catches Naomasa Tsukauchi's attention before the conversation is interrupted.
All Might uses Nebraska Smash to whip up a small tornado that draws in and detonates every one of the roughly two hundred miniature Bombers that Number 6 created.
Knuckleduster is watching Number 6 through a sniper scope as the villain decides to disappear after his plan collapses, unaware he is already a target.
