Drake Pirates

The crew breaks from tradition with its flag, swapping the usual skull for an ornate, European-styled emblem flanked by a pair of fencing swords in place of crossbones, all set against a red field rather than the customary black, a nod to Drake's epithet and loyalties. Its members carry the look of European fencers reminiscent of the Three Musketeers. Their vessel, the Liberal Hind, is a recolored Marine warship likely dating to Drake's service, coated with Yarukiman resin so it can dive and endure pressure at depths of ten thousand meters.

The outfit is presumed formidable, given that its captain ranks among the Eleven Supernovas and once held the Marine post of Rear Admiral. Their sheer reach to Sabaody as a rookie crew speaks to their capability, as does their escape from Kizaru's raid even after their captain was struck down by the admiral. Drake's willingness to provoke a subordinate of the Emperor Kaidou further underscores the crew's nerve.

Starting out in the North Blue after Drake quit the Marines, the crew crossed the perilous Grand Line and reached Sabaody alongside the era's other rising rookies, where Drake broke up a quarrel between Urouge and Killer. After Luffy struck a World Noble, Drake clashed with Kizaru and a Pacifista beside Hawkins, Urouge, and Apoo before slipping away, then watched the Marineford war unfold. Pushing into the New World, the crew provoked Kaidou's man Scotch to draw the Emperor's attention.

Over the timeskip the Drake Pirates joined Kaidou and the Beasts Pirates, with Drake becoming a headliner and taking part in the destruction of Tama's village in Wano. He subdued Caribou's rebellion on one of Kaidou's islands, and learned of Doflamingo's defeat, revealing that the man had killed his father, Diez Barrels, though he held no grudge. In the non-canon One Piece: Stampede, the crew rode a Knock Up Stream during the Pirates Festival and escaped the Marines with help from the revolutionaries. At the Flower Capital, Drake was dispatched with Page One and Hawkins to punish a soba shop owner.
