Eboshi

Eboshi is a man of average size whose blond hair sweeps down to cover one half of his face. Black tentacle-shaped tattoos mark his forehead, his left chest, and his left arm. His outfit layers an unbuttoned blue shirt beneath a purple cape with spiked shoulders, paired with pale blue trousers, a belt, and a draped yellow garment trimmed with dangling tentacle-like decorations and stamped with a jellyfish emblem. A magenta bicorne bearing his crew's flag tops it off, and once the clash with Uta begins he is given a black combat outfit.

Scheming and self-serving, Eboshi crashes Uta's show meaning to grab her and squeeze a ransom out of the Red Hair Pirates. He brims with confidence in his crew, showing no nerves even when facing down the Big Mom Pirates or the Straw Hats, though Uta did rattle him by threatening to turn him into a song. For all his greed, he proves willing to shelve his own aims and ally with the Straw Hats and their friends once stopping Uta becomes the larger concern.

Eboshi watched the opening of Uta's performance with Kaginote and Hanagasa, plotting to seize her after the first number, and grew startled to learn she was Shanks' daughter. When the Jellyfish Pirates moved onstage they collided with Charlotte Oven and Charlotte Brulee, who wanted Uta too, and the Straw Hats stepped in to protect her. Eboshi swung his cutlass at Zoro only to be swatted aside and cut down. Uta then offered to let the interlopers stay with her if they quit piracy; when they refused with laughter, she used her power to bind Eboshi, his crew, and the two Charlottes onto a musical staff. The captured pirates were later freed after the trapped group realized singing the notes beneath their heads would release them, and the Jellyfish Pirates struck a temporary truce with the Straw Hats, SWORD, CP0, and the Big Mom Pirates. Eboshi fought in the final battle against Uta, receiving a battle outfit when she summoned Tot Musica, and afterward his crew became fans dancing to her broadcast music. As a swordsman he wields a cutlass capable of firing a pink, winding air slash shaped like a jellyfish tentacle, and he showed notable endurance, weathering blows from Zoro and Tot Musica with little lasting harm.
