Ottoland is one of the towering Kairiki Destroyers serving the Franky Family in Water 7. Devoted to Franky, he joined the assault on Enies Lobby and clashed with the gatekeeping giants Oimo and Kashii.
Standing well beyond the height of ordinary people, Ottoland is a bulky, heavily built figure whose head rises past the knees of full-grown giants. Tangled brown hair tops a wide face marked by thick lips. Like his fellow Destroyers, he sports the Franky Family kit: a metal lederhosen stamped with a pink star, protective goggles, a star-marked bandana, rounded shoulder guards, and green shorts.
His earliest rendering in the digitally colored manga gave him a paler brown mane and a grayish bandana, details later adjusted to align with the anime palette.
Loyalty defines him. Ottoland treats Franky as an older brother and follows him without hesitation, even into a strike against a World Government stronghold. He carries enormous pride in his own muscle, convinced he measures up to any giant, a confidence that ultimately proves misplaced when real giants enter the fray.

After charging the two giants alongside the other Destroyers, he is kicked unconscious, later tied to Oimo for the escape, and eventually wakes to celebrate aboard the Puffing Tom. He then shares in the post-raid festivities and helps push Franky toward joining the Straw Hats before the family is invited into the Galley-La Company.
