An Inevitable Melee! Wetton's Schemes and the Rainbow Tower!

Inside the wreck of a Marine vessel, the imprisoned Ian fakes desperation and tricks the gullible Akibi into releasing him, then thanks the boy with a sinister laugh. Out in the distorted dimension of the Rainbow Mist, Rapanui still refuses to accept that the elderly Henzo is the same friend from half a century earlier, reminding him of the village Wetton once burned. Usopp pleads on Henzo's behalf, describing the betrayals the old man quietly endured while never abandoning his research. The reunion is interrupted when Luffy rockets out of one portal, snatches Rapanui, and disappears through another, scattering the group again.

Stranded together in a featureless pocket of the Mist, Luffy and Rapanui wander on instinct, and Rapanui recalls his Marine father, who left and later died far from home. Nico Robin grows uneasy after spotting a two-hundred-year-old hull beside floating rocket wreckage, confirming that time within the Mist runs warped. Nami ties a lifeline to her Clima-Tact and ventures into the fog, surfacing in the graveyard with a rowboat of treasure. Ian seizes Akibi as a hostage and flees by boat, but Robin pins him with her powers until contact with sea-prism stone saps her strength. Wetton, meanwhile, dons his shaky Flame Suit and prepares to raid the riches of Ape's Concert.

The episode is original anime material that does not follow the manga. It debuts Lake's Dragon Spark and Wetton's Silver Barbecue weapon. The closing beats show the Rainbow Tower toppled and driven sideways into the Mist, where its tunnel-like conveyor delivers Wetton's guards so they can begin looting the sunken paradise.
