Conis explains that Skypiea, also called God's Land, answers to the almighty Enel, who is said to perceive everything that happens and to be watching even now. Zoro shrugs off any belief in such a being while respecting those who do, and Sanji asks whether Conis has ever laid eyes on this God. She has not, since Upper Yard is off-limits. Meanwhile, Nami reaches a spot and is stunned to find actual earth on a sky island. Luffy, hearing the place is forbidden, grows eager to go, and Robin presses Pagaya about the consequences, who states no visitor is believed to return alive.

Deep in the forest, Nami overhears voices plotting to seize treasure and follows them to a Waver and a shell. A bird presses the shell and triggers a recording, from which she realizes the speakers were killed by God and decides to flee. She then sees a man, Zabo, being chased by Ohm, one of Upper Yard's priests, whose dog Holy nearly devours him before two more priests, Shura and Satori, join the hunt. Wyper fires his bazooka at the priests from behind Nami. The fleeing man begs onto her Waver and threatens her for it, only to be incinerated by a bolt of lightning as he cries out to God. Recalling Amazon's mention of the immigration toll, Nami rushes back to warn the crew. On the beach, the White Berets crawl forward, prompting Usopp and Chopper to mistake them for perverts, and their captain McKinley announces the Straw Hats will receive Heaven's Judgment.

This episode adapts material from chapters 241 and 242. It introduces a large roster of new characters, including the priests Ohm, Shura, Satori, and Gedatsu, along with Zabo, the dog Holy, the bird Fuza, and the White Berets captain McKinley. Enel's lightning technique El Thor debuts here, as does his Goro Goro no Mi as a new Devil Fruit.
