Gum-Gum Human Vs. Fire-Breathing Cyborg!

Franky keeps goading Luffy into a fight, and once Nami names him, Luffy recognizes the man who beat Usopp and eagerly accepts. Franky taunts him over the ruined house and admits the money is already spent, but Luffy only wants payback. Franky then sucks in a vast breath and unleashes a wall of flame, hurls himself into the canal, and rams the dock, sending the two Straw Hats flying. After flooring Luffy with his Strong Right, he removes a hand to reveal he is no Devil Fruit user but a cyborg.

At the hospital, Iceburg regains consciousness, badly hurt but alert. He tells the gathered shipwrights he recognized one of his assailants as Nico Robin, a member of the Straw Hat crew. News that the mayor is awake delights the crowd outside.

Luffy and Franky wreck the shipyard as they brawl, until the Galley-La shipwrights blast both of them apart. Paulie binds Luffy with rope while Lulu and Lucci pile on, explaining that one of the Straw Hats tried to kill Iceburg. Franky protests their meddling in his duel as the carpenters press their attack. In his room, Iceburg keeps puzzling over the masked man and senses the attackers were after something important.

Drawn from chapters 335 through 337, the episode debuts Franky's Fresh Fire, Strong Right, and Weapons Left, plus Paulie's Half-Knot Air Drive. Pandaman appears among the onlookers, and an animation error briefly shows Paulie speaking from a mouth near his stomach.
