One Down!! Sure Kill Straw Hat Docking?

With Absalom out of the way, Nami sets off after Thriller Bark's riches, discovers the vault stripped bare, and bullies a pair of chipmunk zombies into pointing her toward the loot. The crewmates locked in combat with Oars decide on Tactics 15, the Big Emperor combination. Franky locks onto Sanji and Zoro, Usopp slots in as the right arm, and Chopper takes the head. Robin, however, point-blank turns down the role of left hand, branding it too humiliating, which crushes the disappointed Oars, who had grown excited to clash with the assembled giant.

Forced to scrap the formation, the crew dismantles Oars one strike at a time. Oil Stars from Usopp send a foot skidding out, Sanji launches Zoro with Franky's Heavy Nunchunks to slam them into one arm, and Robin tears into the opposite arm using her Cien Fleur: Big Tree. Scaling up to the giant's face, Franky and Chopper deliver a joint blow that throws Oars off balance. A final kick from Sanji takes out the one foot still holding him upright, sending the zombie pitching forward to the ground face first. Off on his own, Brook heads for the kitchen after milk and salt.

Adapting chapter content, the episode rated 8.4 and ranked seventh for the week. It introduces the incomplete Pirates Docking 6 formation along with a handful of team techniques. The installment also stages Bartholomew Kuma's first appearance, though one audio detail is absent: his signature footstep sound is left out as he arrives, an early hint of the Warlord's looming presence.
