Luffy's Back! Ivan-san Begins the Breakout Plan!!

Restored to health, Luffy hears Ivankov recount his history and his rank as a commander in the Revolutionary Army serving under Monkey D. Dragon. The fact that the captain is Dragon's son leaves the queen reeling. Inazuma sews a fresh set of clothes for him and hands back his straw hat. At the same time, Ace is led up out of the lowest floor to be marched toward his execution at Marineford. Luffy, Ivankov, and Inazuma then drop into the fifth floor, cutting through the attacking Wolf Unit before descending the stairs to the bottom level, where guards and traps lie waiting.

As the crowd roars for Luffy, Bentham collapses, undone not by his injuries but by the sheer effort of his own cheering. Ivankov realizes Bon Kurei broke in expressly to free him, yet insists the moment for a jailbreak has not arrived, since Dragon has not yet stirred. Luffy then names Dragon as his father, and the floored Ivankov, after the captain places his origin in East Blue, reasons that Ace must likewise be Dragon's son. Calling himself Dragon's friend and refusing to watch the man's child die, Ivankov pledges his backing and pumps Energy Hormones into Luffy once he faints. The three race across the fifth floor toward the sixth. Meanwhile Magellan personally hauls Ace toward Marineford, where Vice Admiral Onigumo waits beyond the prison gates, with only six hours left before the execution.
