Onigumo

Cold and hooded eyes set the tone for Onigumo, a tall officer rarely seen without a cigarette between his lips. Long brown hair falls past an antique war helmet crowned with a small traditional dragon and trailing a lengthy red plume. Beneath the standard Marine coat he favors a double-breasted gray suit layered over a dark green shirt and finished with a silver tie, while a single gold hoop hangs from his left ear.

Rank alone makes Onigumo formidable, as commanding a Buster Call beside four fellow vice admirals demands considerable authority and skill. His speed and stealth let him pin down Marco and lock a Seastone cuff onto the man's wrist, and like all officers of his grade he can call upon Haki. His Devil Fruit is an unidentified Zoan that grants spider traits: three extra pairs of black limbs sprout from his lengthened hair, along with a spider-like abdomen. Combined with his own two arms, those appendages let him fight with eight sabers at once, a style echoing the multi-blade swordsmanship of Hatchan and Hyouzou. He prefers sabers over the katanas favored by most of his peers, and he has drawn a pistol to gun down a subordinate who dared question his doctrine.

Onigumo answered the Buster Call summons to Enies Lobby with four other vice admirals. There he ordered three ships to open fire on a friendly Marine vessel and its thousand sailors purely to reach Luffy, trusting that Rob Lucci would survive the barrage. When a soldier protested the sacrifice, Onigumo shot the man dead to enforce his vision of Absolute Justice. As whirlpools threw the fleet into chaos after the Gates of Justice closed, he hurled abuse at the gate crew, unaware Sanji was responsible.

During the Summit War saga he oversaw Ace's transfer from Impel Down, then joined the line of vice admirals at Marineford, cutting through Whitebeard's forces with ease and disabling Marco so Kizaru could strike. The fall of Garp to Luffy left him visibly shaken, and he stood down once Sengoku ordered a halt after Whitebeard's death and Shanks' arrival. Non-canon films later show him at Sakazuki's conference and weeping at the clash between Z and Kizaru, and joining the Buster Call against Delta Island in Stampede.
