Pirates Get On The Move! Astounding New World!

Near Sabaody, Trafalgar Law and the Heart Pirates set their sights on the New World. On a frozen island, X Drake and his crew are pelted by icicles and flee until a vast iron dome splits open to expose a hidden city defended by an enormous cyborg. The machine identifies itself as a guardian and confirms that striking it would draw Kaidou's attention, so Drake shifts into his Ancient Zoan form and squares off against it.

On a separate island, Apoo dispatches one giant wild boar only for an entire herd to charge him; cornered at a cliff, he and his crew are astonished to find themselves sprinting through open air with the beasts in pursuit. The Blackbeard Pirates, having beaten the Bonney Pirates, hope to trade Jewelry Bonney to the Marines for lack of a ship, but Van Augur spots Akainu commanding the approaching vessel, prompting a hasty retreat rather than a deadly encounter. The episode closes with Chopper coming back to the giant bird island to learn about its plants and remedies.

The anime fills gaps the manga left blank, building a guarded cybernetic town and a clearly hostile confrontation for Drake, and showing the cyborg react with delight rather than shock at his rare Devil Fruit. Apoo's boar fight is lengthened, and more of Blackbeard's crew chatter about their shabby lodgings while waiting. Chopper's homecoming gains a reflective beat on Luffy's unconditional acceptance, which fuels his pledge to grow stronger. This was the final episode with Blackbeard's first English dub actor.
