Sabo, Rebecca, and Koala drop into the trade port to link up with Hack. The newly freed slaves pledge themselves to Usopp and resolve to bring the factory down. Having tumbled from the colosseum himself, Burgess grumbles that Sabo had swallowed the flame fruit his own crew was counting on, while Diamante frets beside him over its loss, the pair soon swarmed by liberated toys boiling with hatred for the Donquixote Pirates. Out of his disguise, Sabo names himself, Koala, and Hack as Revolutionaries, discloses that Lucy is in truth his younger brother Luffy, and explains that they came to halt Dressrosa's worldwide weapons trade. The trio then regroups with Robin, already acquainted with all three, who presents a battered Usopp whose ruined face unsettles them.

Kin'emon hurries out of the palace in his Doflamingo disguise, barely escaping death before Wicca realizes Operation SOP has succeeded and has him drop the guise. On the plateau, Zoro keeps searching in vain for Pica. Inside the palace, Kyros fells the officers, Buffalo and Baby 5 among them, while Luffy and Viola rush to free Law, who warns that their pact has ended and that he may kill Luffy the moment he is loose. Gladius charges in and freezes at the sight of a decapitated Doflamingo. Kyros strikes the chains from Riku, and as Luffy fumbles with Law's cuffs a sudden shockwave reveals Pica beside the Warlord, the severed head gripped in his hand. Still breathing, Doflamingo calls the situation grave and announces he will deploy the Birdcage, leaving Law horrified.

The adaptation adds Koala asking Hack about his broken hand, flashbacks of Sabo, Luffy, and Ace, and Kyros squaring off against Baby 5 once Buffalo is down. It also reworks the seastone cuffs moment: Luffy flinches in fear and asks Viola to release Law, only for her to refuse as a fellow Devil Fruit user. Notably, broadcast and simulcast versions trimmed Doflamingo's detached head and body through cropping and early cuts, a choice widely linked to the real-world beheading of Haruna Yukawa publicized one day before the airing. The episode belongs to the Dressrosa Arc.
