Gathering into a Powerful Front! Luffy and a Group of Brutal Warriors!

Flung clear by Pica's strike, the three of Luffy, Zoro, and Law touch down outside the Corrida Colosseum. As the swordsmen take stock of the giant's strength, Cavendish springs at Law, still bitter that the Supernovas robbed him of his fame. Luffy steps in, naming Law a friend, a label Law instantly and loudly refuses. Cavendish admits his old grudge against Luffy has faded, thanks to Usopp breaking his toy curse, and even returns a hat he picked up. As repayment, he offers to finish Doflamingo so the Straw Hats can lie low. Luffy waves him off, insisting he owes Rebecca for sharing her lunch, a motive Cavendish takes for a bid at fame and headlines.

The liberated combatants arrive in waves, every grudge abandoned, all of them set on Doflamingo's head to settle their debt to Usopp. Chinjao turns up alongside Sai and Boo, Hajrudin follows, and then a whole throng pours in. Among them stand Dagama and Elizabello II, Jeet and Suleiman, Orlumbus and Ideo, plus Abdullah and Blue Gilly, each pressing the same claim for reasons of his own. Their bickering ends when bounty-hungry ex-toys press in; sickened that anyone would attack their liberators, the warriors drop the quarrel and smash the assault with ease. Luffy then picks Ucy out from among them, and the fighting bull knows its friend at once.

Sure the Straw Hats are dead, the townspeople raise their guns at the looming bull-shaped shadow, only to lock up when they see Luffy's crew flanked by the Colosseum's deadliest fighters. Pica moves to crush them, but Chinjao's drilling headbutt and a lighter King Punch from Elizabello II split the giant's stone arm apart, leaving the citizens speechless. All the while, Luffy keeps trying to shake his rivals so he can chase Doflamingo by himself.

The episode falls under the Dressrosa Arc, and Elizabello debuts Light Version: King Punch. Several beats are anime additions: the plateau climbers feeling the aftershock of Pica's punch as Leo catches a falling Usopp, Pica stewing over Luffy's mockery, and the allies laughing at the giant's voice before the clash. On the page, Luffy and Zoro landed together outside the Colosseum, whereas here Luffy, carrying Law, comes down apart from Zoro. The manga gathered the allies right after Cavendish, but the adaptation has the group fight off enemies first, with the Chinjao Family pursuit invented for the broadcast. Zoro likewise reacts to Cavendish far more warily than the source showed.
