Special Edition! The Strongest Bounty Hunter Cidre

Buena Festa informs the bounty hunter Cidre that Douglas Bullet plans to attend the coming Pirates Festival. Cidre relishes the thought of wiping out every pirate there, their bounties together topping ten billion berries, but fixes especially on bringing down Bullet. When Festa mentions Luffy has also been invited, Cidre reveals his guild is already moving against the Straw Hats. Out on the water, saucer-shaped craft of the Cidre Guild, led by Ginger and Guarana, pelt the Thousand Sunny with jets of carbonated water, and the crew, though felling many attackers, is overwhelmed and flees by Coup de Burst.

Landing on a nearby island, the crew finds their cola supply exhausted, so Luffy goes ashore to buy a barrel. The ramune seller Caramel tells him only the factory sells full barrels and warns the place is held by the Cidre Guild. Confronted by Ginger, Luffy is struck by a carbonation blast that drops him into a sinkhole and an underground river, which carries him up into Hancock's bath. Cidre learns the two are together and schemes to slay both while framing Luffy for the empress's killing. Ginger storms the bath, but Luffy shields Hancock with Gum-Gum Balloon while Sandersonia, Marigold, and Nyon join the fight. Pressed, Ginger releases carbon dioxide gas, scattering the group and forcing Luffy and Hancock to flee together.

Near the factory, Hancock explains the Pirates Festival as an irregular gathering of powerful pirates from across the world, which intrigues Luffy. Cidre then flies in and punches a crater into the ground, refusing to sell cola to pirates and charging at Luffy in pursuit of his hundredth kill. This installment opens the Cidre Guild Arc. Cidre means to kill Hancock regardless of her rank, since she holds a seat among those Warlords who answer to the World Government. The episode, together with the following one, introduces the fourth set of eyecatchers.
