Chapter 1108

Augur trains his gun on a kneeling, pleading Caribou, wary because countless people now want Blackbeard dead. To save himself, Caribou dangles a lure, claiming he knows who Poseidon is and where Pluton rests, which sets Augur and Devon weighing his value. Meanwhile the Marines cannot crack the Pacifista's bubble shields, and the vice admirals, sick at the thought of scrapping their finest weapons, decide that hunting Bonney down is the way to take back control.

Tosa chases her and nearly lands the killing strike, but a giant's blow drives him into the earth. Startled, Bonney, Franky, and Atlas meet Dorry and Brogy, who introduce themselves and then dash off to reinforce Luffy and Sanji at her request, handing the rest of the crew to their fellow giants. Bluegrass and Doll, the latter once a subordinate of the giant Jaguar D. Saul, ready an assault from a commandeered Sea Beast.

Saturn assumes his beast shape and weeps corrosive venom from his legs. As Sanji bears Vegapunk away, Kizaru attacks and drives Ama no Murakumo clean through the scientist's midsection. Luffy enlarges once more and grips both Saturn and Kizaru. The world's smartest man dies in Sanji's arms, and a machine in his lab switches on, sending a message across the globe that vows to expose everything the world has never been told.

This chapter marks the death of Dr. Vegapunk and plants the seed of the broadcast that upends everything. Doll's tie to Jaguar D. Saul lends weight to her divided loyalties.
