Chapter 273

Enel's power buckles the entire upper level, dropping Zoro, the limp Chopper, and the serpent to the foot of the beanstalk. Inside Nola, Aisa grips Luffy, who clutches Nami's waver as she aims for the mouth, but the exhaust pipe blasts the pair loose and strands them behind. Gan Fall, Nami, and Pierre clear the snake's jaws, and Gan Fall promptly sends Pierre back in after the two.

At the ruins, Robin spots the falling debris and then Zoro, who claws free still gripping Chopper and bristling at the near miss. She informs him they have reached the city of gold, now emptied of treasure. The serpent lands apart from them, head poking through the clouds, and begins behaving oddly, even shedding a tear and loosing a mournful roar. The sound so irritates Enel that he electrocutes the beast while Pierre, Aisa, and Luffy remain within it, horrifying Wyper and Zoro for their trapped companions. Drifting up on an Orb Cloud, Enel announces the game is far from over, tallying six contestants where his prophecy allowed only five, with three minutes remaining. As the question of who must be removed circulates, Wyper, Gan Fall, Robin, and Zoro exchange a look and settle together on Enel as the one to be cut.

Gan Fall and Nami at last escape Nola's stomach, while Luffy and Aisa stay behind after the waver's exhaust knocks them off, prompting Gan Fall to send Pierre back for them. Zoro, the unconscious Chopper, Wyper, and the serpent crash into Shandora beneath the Giant Jack. The crew rejoins Robin and learns the gold is already gone. Enel shocks the serpent, then counts six survivors including himself and the hidden Nami, but overlooking Luffy and Aisa, which drives the four remaining fighters to collectively mark him for elimination.

The cover continues "Ace's Great Blackbeard Search," placing Ace on the rooftops while the Pasta Lake chef keeps chasing him. The wiki ties the title "Quintet," a band of five players, to Enel's prediction that only five would stand at the survival game's end. This installment falls within the Skypiea Arc.
