Chapter 451

Absalom dispatches his General Zombies to run down the Straw Hats, then finds himself harassed by Lola, a warthog zombie demanding marriage. He dodges her marriage license and stolen kisses, insisting that as a human he wants a human bride, and flashes Nami's bounty poster to declare his chosen wife. Furious, Lola charges off to eliminate her rival. Nearby, Perona drills her uncomfortable bear servant on staying silent and cute before leaving to lead the Treasure Recovery Group.

Singing squirrel zombies hauling coffins lose their grip, spilling Chopper out; he shifts to Heavy Point, beats them, and frees Nami and Usopp. The three realize they were being carried across the forest bridge toward a second mansion to be turned into zombies. Three dancing penguins introduce themselves and surround them with Wild Zombies in Perona's Wonder Garden. When a zombie tries to cut Nami, the newest penguin kicks the attacker down, declaring he will never strike a woman even on pain of death.

Captain John is introduced among the General Zombies as a notorious living pirate, while Lola alone among them ignores Absalom's commands. The penguin Inuppe mirrors Sanji's chivalry just as Ryuma echoes Brook. Back inside the mansion, Luffy, Franky, and Robin grill Buhichuck after Zoro vanishes exactly as Sanji did. The cover continues Spacey's flashback, recounting the professor's odd death by choking after witnessing a lunar explosion.
