Chapter 772, "Cabbage & Lomeo," tracks the layered battles inside Doflamingo's palace as Kyros defends Rebecca, Bartolomeo and Cavendish bicker through a fight with Gladius, and a hidden personality erupts to end Dellinger in a single stroke.
Out in the sunflower fields, Kyros keeps trading blows with Diamante while struggling to stay upright on the rippling, fluttering ground. When Diamante links Kyros to the legendary Thunder Soldier and turns an attack toward Rebecca, her father shields her and flatly refuses to ever let her step onto a battlefield again, even as she begs to stop being a liability.

Higher up, Gladius readies a blast big enough to level the whole level. Cavendish ducks into Bartolomeo's shield, the two squabble, and Robin slips away toward Rebecca. Grateful for a wink from Robin, an overjoyed Bartolomeo plows into everyone with his barrier, Cavendish included.
Bartolomeo debuts fresh applications of his barrier fruit, sheltering Robin and Cavendish from Gladius's detonation. Ideo, revealed to descend from the Longarm Tribe and badly hurt, stalls Dellinger to buy Luffy time against Doflamingo, only for Dellinger to drop his hat, bare his fangs, and finish him with a bite to the neck.
Climbing to the third level, Dellinger ignores Gladius's warning about a dangerous foe and is cut down instantly by Cavendish, whose buried Hakuba persona has taken over.

The cover continues the Jinbe side story, where the sea knight crosses paths once more with the giant Wadatsumi. This installment marks the first time Dellinger removes his hat to reveal his fangs, and it sets up the emergence of Cavendish's alternate self as a sudden new threat inside the tower.
