Chapter 854: What Are You Doing?

Hunted through the Chateau, Jinbe charges the wall of soldiers ahead while asking Nami to deal with those chasing from behind. Her Thundercloud Rod scatters the rear pursuers, though a stray bolt strikes Chopper as he climbs from a mirror to bring them in. Once through, the pair rejoins the others waiting in the realm: Pedro, Carrot, and Chopper. Brûlée recognizes the fish-man as a traitor, recalling how, in his bid to leave the crew, he had refused to face Big Mom's spinning wheel. Jinbe confirms it, noting the wheel promised nothing but death, and Pedro supports the choice by remembering a comrade who spun it and lost his entire remaining lifespan. The reunion is interrupted as the rescue team piles onto the heavy cart Diesel can barely drag.

In her private chambers, a wounded Prometheus bandages an injury Brook dealt, and Big Mom praises the skeleton as the first ever to mark her finest homies. Charmed, she chooses to keep carrying him rather than shelve him away. She and Pudding then rehearse the assassination: at the altar, the moment Sanji raises the veil and freezes at the sight of the third eye, Pudding will put a shot through his head, and that single crack will loose a wall of guns on the Vinsmokes before they can even flinch.

Convinced Pedro blew himself up and that Brûlée has Chopper and Carrot in custody, the family writes off all five intruders as no further threat to the ceremony. Terrified of forfeiting his lifespan, Opera swears he burned Luffy and Nami alive over their lack of leads on Lola, hiding the truth of their escape and Jinbe's appearance. Mont-d'Or grudgingly crosses the pair off the list but quietly orders the chess soldiers to tail Opera, distrusting his story.

Out in the hallway, Bobbin finds Sanji and helps himself to a piece of meat from the basket.
